We built Fits to help you share your outfits, get inspired, and connect with people who love fashion as much as you do. This Privacy Policy explains what info we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

We collect three kinds of info:

  • What you share: Your profile (username, display name, photo), posts (photos, comments, likes), and account details (email or Sign in with Apple).
  • What’s collected automatically: Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, language, crash/bug logs, and usage patterns (like which screens you visit).
  • What you connect: If you connect Fits with other services (e.g., Sign in with Apple, or linking your camera roll for uploads), we only access what’s necessary to provide the feature you choose.

We don’t intentionally collect sensitive personal info like health or financial data. Please avoid sharing that in the app.

 

4. How We Use Info

We use your information to:

  • Run the app (show your posts, manage your feed, enable comments/likes, etc.)
  • Personalize your experience and suggest content you might like
  • Keep the community safe (moderation, abuse prevention, blocking/reporting features)
  • Communicate with you (transactional updates, product news if you opt in)
  • Improve Fits and develop new features

 

5. How We Share Info

We don’t sell your personal info. We only share it when:

  • With service providers who help us run Fits (e.g., hosting, analytics, content delivery, login & payments through Apple).
  • If required by law or to protect safety.
  • If you ask us to (e.g., sharing a post to social media).
  • In case of a business transfer (merger, acquisition, etc.).

 

6. Cookies (Website Only)

If you visit our website, we use basic cookies to keep things running and measure performance. No creepy ad tracking. You can block cookies in your browser if you prefer.

 

7. Your Choices

You’re in control:

  • Adjust permissions in your phone settings (camera, microphone, notifications, location).
  • Edit or delete your posts at any time.
  • Block or report other users if necessary.
  • Delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account).
  • Email us at fitsappcontact@gmail.com to access, correct, or delete your data.

 

8. Retention

We keep your info while your account is active. If you delete your account, we’ll remove or anonymize your data within a reasonable time (up to 12 months, unless legally required to keep it longer).

 

9. Security

We use encryption, access controls, and monitoring to protect your information. No system is 100% perfect, so please keep your device secure and updated.

 

10. Kids

Fits is not for children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). If we find we’ve collected info from a child without proper consent, we’ll delete it.

We’re based in the US, but your data may be processed internationally. For EU/UK users, we rely on safeguards like Standard Contractual Clauses.

 

12. Changes

5. Community Standards & User Safety

Your safety and positive experience are our top priorities.

  • Zero Tolerance: Fits has a zero tolerance policy for objectionable, threatening, or abusive content and users.
  • Moderation: We review posts to screen for and filter objectionable content.
  • Reporting: Users can report any content or user they believe to be abusive, threatening, or inappropriate via in-app reporting tools.
  • Swift Action: Our moderation team reviews all reports and removes content found to violate our guidelines within 24 hours. Offending users may be suspended or banned in serious or repeated cases.
  • Commitment: We are committed to acting on objectionable content reports within 24 hours by removing such content and taking appropriate action, including ejecting offending users from the platform.
